Life doesn't get much better than that for me.......
I've had a lovely weekend, the sun has been out, friends have been around and the music has been great.
It really is the simple things that make us the happiest.

I agree - simple joys can have the deepest effect on us. Today, I walked the dogs, had a swim in the sea and played my guitar.

I can highly recommend a seaside life.
What sort of music do you play on your guitar? I'm primarily into old blues music at the moment.

Just whatever, accoustic, folk mostly..... i'll play anything though. My passion is Jazz and Soul music.
I was in memphis last month and I must admit spent alot of time in Beale Street the home of the blues..... amazing place and amazing music...-

I'm not so into Jazz or soul myself, but I do like a bit of Folk and Country too.
I'm envious of your trip to Memphis. I love the Memphis Blues from the 1940s onwards, but even more I love the Delta Blues of the 1920s and 30s. One day I'd like to do a musical tour of that region of America.
